Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Tickets Ready

Tickets to the 1970 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, to be held Friday, February 27th through March 8 in the Astrodome go on sale today.

Ticket offices are located at the Astrodome Box Office and at all Foley's stores. Prices are $4.50 and $3.50 for reserved seats and $2.50 for unreserved seats.

The '70 edition of the rodeo will be the fifth held in the Astrodome and the headliners are:

Elvis Presley, February 27, 28 and March 1st; Charley Pride, March 2, 3 and 4; Bobby Goldsboro on Thursday, March 6th; and Roy Clark and Buck Owens on March 6, 7 and 8th.

The rodeo offers the largest rodeo purse in the world and attracts the top professional cowboys from throughout the United States and Canada.
